Your safety is our overriding priority at the University, and we are working hard to make sure that our campuses are as COVID-19 secure as possible. One of the measures we've put into place to keep all students and staff safe, is establishing a Rapid Response Team.

As well as offering support and advice, if you develop symptoms our Rapid Response Team will deliver a test to you swiftly and you'll recieve your results within 24 hours.

Advice for students

The Rapid Response Team will help you if you begin to develop symptoms of coronavirus (a high temperature, new continuous cough or a loss of taste/smell). It is essential to your health, your friends' health and the health of everybody on campus that you contact the Rapid Response Team if you develop any of the symptoms of coronavirus, so that we can help you as soon as possible. The Team will advise you on requesting a free test to check if you have coronavirus; support you to self-isolate if you receive a positive result; and advise you about returning to campus safely after self-isolating.

If you begin to experience coronavirus-like symptoms, however mild, you will need to self-isolate and contact the Rapid Response team straight away, by emailing rapidresponse@fxplus.ac.uk or calling 01326 370402. The Rapid Response team is currently available 9am-5pm on weekdays, and 9am-11am on Saturdays.  If you don't get through by phone, please leave a message – a member of the team will get back to you, usually very quickly.
