Coronavirus Rapid Response Team
If you develop coronavirus symptoms, you must self isolate and contact our Rapid Response Team immediately.
Your safety is our overriding priority at the University, and we are working hard to make sure that our campuses are as COVID-19 secure as possible. One of the measures we've put into place to keep all students and staff safe, is establishing a Rapid Response Team.
As well as offering support and advice, if you develop symptoms our Rapid Response Team will deliver a test to you swiftly and you'll recieve your results within 24 hours.

The Rapid Response Team's current working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and 9am-11am on Saturdays.

Out of hours
If you are feeling unwell and need medical support outside of these times, do not wait. Call 119 or 999 in an emergency.
If you have symptoms of coronvairus and are living in halls, or you are student who has been confirmed as having coronavirus in any location, please notify the Glasney Lodge out of hours team on 01326 253503.
Easter opening hours
Good Friday – open for testing 9am-11am
Easter Saturday – closed for testing (the inbox will still be monitored and results actioned overnight)
Easter Sunday – open for testing 9am-11am
Easter Monday – open for testing 9am-11am
Advice for students
The Rapid Response Team will help you if you begin to develop symptoms of coronavirus (a high temperature, new continuous cough or a loss of taste/smell). It is essential to your health, your friends' health and the health of everybody on campus that you contact the Rapid Response Team if you develop any of the symptoms of coronavirus, so that we can help you as soon as possible. The Team will advise you on requesting a free test to check if you have coronavirus; support you to self-isolate if you receive a positive result; and advise you about returning to campus safely after self-isolating.
If you begin to experience coronavirus-like symptoms, however mild, you will need to self-isolate and contact the Rapid Response team straight away, by emailing rapidresponse@fxplus.ac.uk or calling 01326 370402. The Rapid Response team is currently available 9am-5pm on weekdays, and 9am-11am on Saturdays. If you don't get through by phone, please leave a message – a member of the team will get back to you, usually very quickly.
Advice for staff
If you begin to experience coronavirus symptoms, however mild, you will need to self-isolate and email our Rapid Response Team on: rapidresponse@fxplus.ac.uk or call 01326 370402. These contact details should be used by all Exeter, Falmouth, FX Plus and SU colleagues in Cornwall, and students.
The team will advise you on how to get a free test. The Rapid Response Team is currently available 9am-5pm on weekdays, and 9am-11am on Saturdays. If your test comes back with a positive result, the Rapid Response team will work with you to give you the support you need so that you can safely self-isolate. The team will also share information you've given with Public Health services, so that other colleagues or students who need to can be contacted.
