Kevin Bishop is an broadcast news producer with over 30 years experience in newsgathering. Beginning his career with NBC News in Moscow, he spent 23 years as a senior producer and bureau chief with BBC News. He has worked in many locations around the world as a field producer including stints as bureau chief for the BBC Bureaux in Moscow and New York, producer in Brussels, Johannesburg and Nairobi. He planned and ran the BBC’s coverage of the funeral of Nelson Mandela; he ran teams at the FIFA World Cup from 1998 to 2014; in the lead up to London 2012 he was series producer for the multi-media project World Olympic Dreams. He's produced interviews with Vladimir Putin, Prince Charles and David Beckham among others.

Originally from Falmouth, Kevin studied Russian and French at Bradford University. He's is a keen fan of QPR football club and the England cricket team.
