Immersive Audiovisual Performance by Dr Simon Waite / National Trevor

Join Dr Simon Waite (National Trevor) for an immersive audiovisual performance. Using the 3D surround sound system in Studio L and multiple screens, Si will present a series of original works that cross musical genres, disciplines and performance modalities to explore our connection to the natural world, place, each other and ourselves.

This performance has been created as part of Si’s research secondment with the Centre for Blended Realities, funded by Research England. In creating the work, Si has worked with singers, instrumentalists, technologists, filmmakers, photographers and conservation groups. 

Si is a Course Leader in the Music department at Falmouth University. As National Trevor, he is signed to Canvas Music Distribution and you can hear his releases on all major streaming platforms. 

The audience will be invited to move around the performance space to explore the multiple screens and immersive audio, but there will also be seating available.
