Apply as a Transfer Student

Applying is simple – you can follow the normal application routes, but simply select Year 2 or Year 3 as your entry point in UCAS (if applying directly, please write at the front of your personal statement which level you wish to join and send an email confirming this to applicantservices@falmouth.ac.uk). 

You will then be designated a named admissions officer who will guide you through the application journey and make your transfer as smooth as possible. 

As part of the application process, we would require information about what you are currently studying, including your completed and pending credits. We would be assessing what you will have learned in your most recent studies and comparing this to the Falmouth syllabus that you would have covered if you were beginning at Falmouth at the start of your chosen course. After you have completed an application, we will contact you to guide you on what further information we would need to make this assessment, and we will continue to support you through the process to make your transfer as smooth as possible.

You can check on the web page for your chosen course for details of any additional requirements, such as portfolio, audition or interview. 

Please note that although almost all of our courses are flexible for transfers, we cannot currently accept transfers to Year 2 or Year 3 of the following courses: 

• BSc Software Engineering 
• BA Content Creation 
• BA Creative Computing 
• BSc Creative Computing 
• BSc Artificial Intelligence 

We also cannot currently accept transfers to Year 3 of the following courses: 

• BSc Business Entrepreneurship & Innovation 
• BA Documentary & Editorial Photography 
• BA  Television & Film Production 
• BA Content Creation 
• BA Creative Computing 
• BSc Creative Computing 
• BSc Artificial Intelligence
