Hi! I am from Madeira, and although I loved it there I knew that to achieve my goals I needed to leave my island. I searched for different universities, but Falmouth really caught my attention because it seemed to value creativity a lot.

 

The beginning seemed a bit daunting, especially being queer and a foreigner, but once I arrived, I immediately realized that everyone was so friendly and welcoming, that I should just enjoy this amazing place.

 

What I love the most about this university is how easy it is to collaborate with so many creative people from different backgrounds and with different ideas. I'm still not sure if after this BA I'll continue studying or if I'll try to go straight to the film industry. However, I think that I'm in the right place because the university is also a time where I can experiment and get to know myself even better.
