The Student Ambassador scheme started out as a small group of Falmouth students. Today, we have a large and dedicated team of around 300 working to support events throughout the year.
The scheme gives students the opportunity to get involved in events both on and off-campus including representing the university at Open Days, higher education and UCAS fairs and Campus Tours. Students are also able to assist with a huge variety of other events throughout the academic year.
Student ambassadors support recruitment and outreach core aims and objectives. We develop and coordinate a wide variety of activities, events and programmes for the purpose of student recruitment and widening participation. From UCAS fairs and Open Days to community events and summer schools – the ambassador team are involved in every aspect.
In all of our projects, student ambassadors act as role models, talk about their own experiences of higher education and their journey of how they got here. We look for students who are friendly, with a positive attitude and want to inspire others to pursue higher education.
We're currently looking for creative and innovative students to become Digital Student Ambassadors. You can find out more on the Digital Student Ambassador Scheme page.
