  • Widening Participation work

Why become an ambassador?

Becoming a Student Ambassador is a great way to develop personal skills and confidence, gain valuable work experience and meet new people. You choose when you work, so it's paid work that fits around your studies and other commitments.

How to apply

Applications are now open! Please click here to apply. The deadline is 17:00 on Friday 17 October. We will contact you via your student email w/c 10 November.

We look for students who have a positive attitude and the ability to inspire others to pursue higher education. We are currently only accepting applications from on-campus IFY, 1st and 2nd year students. If you think you fit the bill, we'd love to hear from you. It's our aim to reflect the diversity of Falmouth's student community and those who may wish to study here, so we're keen to hear from all students from a range of backgrounds and experiences including:

  • International students or students with experience of living in a country outside of the UK
  • Students of colour/students from the Global Majority
  • Students with a physical, mental or learning need
  • Students who identify as LGBTQIA+
  • Students who are first in their family to go to university
  • Students from an HM Forces family
  • Students with experience of the care system/caring responsibilities
  • Students with non-mainstream educational backgrounds
  • Mature students
