Professor of Dance and Technology

My work explores the philosophical questions that arise through the choreography, capture and control of the moving body via digital media. I joined Falmouth University in the Centre for Blended Realities in November 2025. My recent AHRC Research, Development and Engagement Fellowship, Moving Online examined how the ontology of dance shapes both the legal frameworks and social practices that govern its ownership online. I joined Falmouth University in the Centre for Blended Realities in November 2025, having previously worked in the Centre for Dance Research (C-DaRE at Coventry University (2015-2025), where I also completed my PhD (2012- 2015). I hold an MA in Dance Studies from Roehampton University and a BA (Hons) in Dance Theatre from Trinity Laban.
