Senior Lecturer, Sustainable Product Design

Product designer educated in Ensaama, Paris and BIAD, Birmingham, over the last ten years évY has evolved a highly original approach to design by developing concepts on holistic usage. They defy our assumptions using innovative scenarios, materials, processes and exploring sustainability principles.  

She
has been commissioned independently and as a collaborator on international projects centering on sustainable innovation and global design. Collaborations include working with Pimliko on eco-project and packaging, XXM Architectures on bio-pilot project for Naturalia store, design collaboration with Lago in Italy and artistic collaborations with Ravi Deepres for WayneMcGregor at the Royal Opera House and the Met, NY. 

évY also contributes to academic research through publications, exhibition and guest talks. She runs lectures, masterclasses and workshops in Europe and International universities. Furthermore she is in charge of the lab creative component of the research platform ‘EcoDesign Observatoire’, Paris.

Research Interests

Research interests and expertise

Research initiation study on sustainable design development of innovative concept-products through holistic approach, design process, experimentation from cutting edge technology to craftsmanship skills and local scale to light industrial production. 

Material are playing a key role especially bio-material exploration and scientific research lab collaboration.

Series of slowmade objects based on classical elements - Earth, Sun, Air, Wood, Quintessence -  essential primal drivers and horizontal evolution, which challenge emotional connection, playful and aesthetic awareness to create unique and biodiverse artefacts and installation.
