Genre-bending indie-folk, forged on the other side of the globe. Expanding from a duo to a dynamic trio, the addition of Jenny Walinetski (Miles Kane) in 2025 brings a powerful, full-band sound to the next chapter of their evolution.
“Strong songwriting, pin-precision vocals, hard rocking accordion and great acoustic grooves…musicianship at its 21st century best." Tom Robinson BBC Radio 6
One of the most exciting new indie-folk bands to come out of the UK in recent years, Good Habits’ award-winning, genre-fusing sound has received international critical acclaim in the short 4 years they have existed with performances at Glastonbury and WOMAD, and tours throughout Europe and Australasia.
Their new album ‘Quarter-Life’ charted in the UK Official Folk Charts Top 40, and received glowing press across BBC Radio, Songlines Magazine and more.
Composed of Bonnie Schwarz (cello + vocals); Pete Shaw (accordion + synth) and Jenny Walinetski (drums) the group mix revved-up virtuosity and harmony with vivid storytelling, drawing on their diverse musical tastes and weaving them into an action packed narrative of genre-bending folky goodness. The recent addition of Jenny brings a high-energy, full-band sound, pushing their indie-folk fusion into dynamic new territory. The new evolution will see them perform at Greenman, Kendal Calling, Greenbelt, Folk East and they look forward to future release projects.
