ACM London Student FAQs
Thank you for taking the time to join the webinar held with Falmouth University, on Friday 24 July 2020. As promised to you on the webinar, here are some of the topics that we discussed with you, and our response to your queries. If you have any questions on these topics, or wish to discuss taking up the offer to transfer to a comparable Falmouth degree, then please feel free to contact our Student Administration team: student.admin@falmouth.ac.uk

Students who are trailing credit
Falmouth's academic regulations, that govern your current degree course at ACM London, allow for students to progress to the next stage of their study if they have 40 credits or less outstanding. This means that you will be able to transfer to another Falmouth course should you wish to do so, if you have up to 40 credits outstanding. Please get in touch with us to discuss your individual circumstances, if you want to explore how this may apply to you.
For your reference, you can find Falmouth's academic regulations below.
The most recent assessment board results were released on Monday 27 July, so you will be able to see your up to date results on the MyFalmouth portal – if you're not sure of your password for the portal, or need to reset it, you can do so via your account, or by contacting Falmouth's IT Service Desk
Students who are intermitting
If you are planning to return to your studies in the 2020/21 year, you still have the choice to remain at ACM and transfer to a Middlesex award or to transfer to a Falmouth degree course. If you are intermitting and have indicated that you wish to return in September 2020, you will have received an email about your return – please indicate if you wish to return, and transfer to a Falmouth degree by 9 August 2020.
Help with accommodation and travel costs
We recognise that you may already have accommodation in place in London, and may be concerned about the availability of accommodation at such short notice if you were to transfer to study at Falmouth, so we are prepared to cover the cost of your accommodation for the planned duration of your course: this will equate to one year's accommodation if you are entering your final year / level 6, or two year's accommodation if you are your second year / entering level 5. This will be in either University-managed accommodation, or from our network of private rental properties in the local area. We will be able to confirm details about the type of accommodation once we know how many students are interested in taking up a place at Falmouth.
We will also help to cover the cost of travel, to the value of £300, to use on journeys to / from Falmouth in your first year here.
Accessing your Falmouth email account
Emails that are sent from the University go to your '@falmouth.ac.uk' email address; you can access your email and all of our systems by using your University username and password. If you're not sure of your login credentials, you can contact our IT Service Desk; if you just need to reset your password and know your username and student number, you can do so via your account
Timeframes for a decision
If you are interested in transferring to a Falmouth degree course, or wish to exit your studies with ACM and Falmouth entirely, Falmouth will support you in your choice; we are asking for a decision from you by Sunday 9th August 2020 to give us time to make the appropriate arrangements for you. Please submit your choice using this online consultation form
