Having joined Falmouth University in December of 2020, I graduated from Washington and Lee University (USA) in 2010 with a double BA in Journalism & Mass Communications and, East Asian Languages and Literature (Japanese). I also completed the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Postgraduate Marketing Diploma in 2017.
Originally from Spain, I moved to the UK in 2010 to enter the communications field as part of a B2B PR agency. After a couple of years in the industry, I realised that I needed to expand my marketing skills, motivating me to move into a corporate marketing role at Ricoh Europe and then Amazon Advertising as their EU Marketing Program Manager. Currently, I am an Account Director at a B2B agency called Big Games Machine and a freelance media relations and media buyer in Spain for a small agency called Westmount360.
At the end of 2018, I started lecturing in my spare time across several academic, corporate and professional institutions in London and Barcelona and mentoring and tutoring in marketing online.
