Heidi Ball
Post Graduate Research Officer
Heidi has worked at Falmouth University since 2010 in a wide variety of roles including Senior Administrator for the Games Academy. Following a brief secondment to the Research & Knowledge Exchange team to support the 2021 REF submission, she returned permanently in 2023, to take up the role of Postgraduate Research Support Officer.
In this role, Heidi supports the research degree programme assisting both students and supervisors throughout the research degree lifecycle from application, induction, through postgraduate research milestones and examination. She is also the Servicing Officer for the Research Degrees Committee.
Outside the postgraduate research degrees journey, Heidi has experience working within the creative industries as a freelance illustrator and writer, having the opportunity to work with some great designers and creators, and winning a number of awards for her published work. She has a particular interest in researching environmental factors within both written and visual narratives.
