After you graduate from Falmouth, you'll automatically become a member of our global alumni network. The term alumni describes a group of individuals who have graduated from an educational institution.

Award documentation and references

Student Programmes & Achievement offer support to our former students by supplying replacement award certificates and official transcripts. We also certify certificates, issue award verification letters and produce academic references for our alumni. Alumni support from the Employability Service

Falmouth University Employability Service continues to support your professional development after you have graduated. Many of our services and events are still open to you as a recent graduate. As a Falmouth University graduate you are able to use many of our professional and high quality online resources for life; these include an AI CV builder and review tool, interview simulator and networking tool, jobs search and more.

Subsidised sports centre membership

Alumni living locally are eligible for discounted membership fees at the Sports Centre on our Penryn Campus. Discounts are available to Alumni and prices can be found on the Sports Centre website or you can contact the Sports Centre direct for more information.

The Sports Centre features a state-of-the-art fitness suite including the latest Vibrogym technology, and exercise studio and multi-use games area. To view exercise class timetables and read more about the Sports Centre's facilities, please visit our Sports Centre page.

Library membership

Benefit from free reference access to the libraries on both campuses. Falmouth Campus library specialises in art and design, and Penryn Campus library in media, design and related subjects. Both libraries have excellent print collections available for alumni to browse.

Alumni borrower

You can also register with the library to become an alumni borrower for a one-time fee of £35. This entitles you to borrow up to ten books at a time. Unfortunately academic licenses do not permit access to online library resources or the video/DVD collection.

To apply to be an alumni borrower:

The library will contact you when your library card is ready for collection (approximately two weeks).

Alumni discount on ACP courses

Falmouth University alumni who graduated less than 18 months ago are eligible for a 50% discount on our ACP courses. For more information, visit our Digital Skills hub.

Work abroad

Work abroad is open to graduates (up to 12 months after completing your course). Graduates are encouraged to apply for funding to support in gaining work experience to help their future career progression.

Allowing graduates to develop key skills to jumpstart their careers while gaining experience abroad. Graduate internships and student placements must be full-time and fall within block durations of 3 or 6 months.

All countries can be considered upon application.

Are you an international student with us?

The UK’s Graduate Route welcomes international students to apply to stay in the UK and work, or look for work, upon graduation. International students who have successfully completed an undergraduate or master’s degree can apply to stay in the UK for up to two years after their studies. PhD graduates can apply to stay for up to three years.

Graduate Outcomes Survey

Graduate Outcomes Survey logo

You'll be contacted by a research company on behalf of HESA (the Higher Education Statistics Agency) and asked to take part in the Graduate Outcomes Survey, a national survey capturing information about the activities and perspectives of graduates 15 months after they finish their studies. Falmouth graduates are sought after by many employers and your feedback in this survey will help us maintain and improve our standing in national and international league tables.
