Research interests and expertise

Design Matters is a collaborative cross discipline research project sharing design knowledge and practice with artisan women's co-ops, which operate in less industrialised global economies in order to directly increase their sales capacities leading to their economic growth, confidence and independence. Falmouth University will be responsible for providing the language of design input and project partner Babson College (MA.USA) will provide entrepreneurship education and prosperity modelling support for the project. This research project also involves student participation, allowing them to experience and be involved with real world projects, to learn more about different business practices in other cultures and to experience a cross-disciplinary environment.
