Subtropical gardens and light-flooded studios make Falmouth Campus a haven for creative practice. With a lively creative community, impressive facilities and a library packed with resources, it’s the perfect space to share and develop your skills.

What's more, just a few steps from the town centre and a short stroll to the shores of Gyllyngvase (known as “Gylly”) beach, inspiration is never far from reach.

On our Falmouth Campus, you can find the following departments:

  • Falmouth School of Art
  • School of Communication

Campus life

Food & drink

At the heart of Falmouth Campus is Fox Cafe – a bright, spacious and comfortable cafe serving up hot and cold food, snacks and drinks. The courtyard also plays host to visiting food trucks offering everything from bangers with a twist to vegan thali.

Gardens

The plants in our peaceful subtropical garden hail from across the globe. A variety of trees have been gifted by passing sea captains and even Kew Gardens; the campus boasts bamboo, lemon, bananas, palm and eucalyptus trees, as well as a variety of agaves and unusual fruit trees. They all thrive in the unique Cornish climate, making this green space the heart of Falmouth campus and the perfect spot for contemplating, roaming or simply relaxing with friends.

Art shop

Our Falmouth Campus Art Shop stocks a wide range of art materials including Moleskine notebooks and artist quality paints, printing and drawing material, as well as paper and sketchbooks all at reasonable prices.
