Jill entered the industry working for Heathcoats in sportswear research and development. She later founded and ran the fashion and performance sports company Poldark Designerwear, a dance, gymnastic and swimwear label, as well as a manufacturing unit for many high street names, sports brands and top end designers. She has also worked as a freelance consultant on many design teams, working from initial design concept and successfully bringing the product to the marketplace, advising on production costings and garment specification.
