A range of financial support is on offer to try and ensure that all students can succeed and fulfil their potential during their studies.
The Falmouth Bursary (2020 entrants only)

All Falmouth Bursary awards are paid at the end of semester 1.
Materials Award (pre-2020 starters only)
All students who are assessed by Student Finance England (or their regional funding body) as having a household income of under £25,000, are automatically granted a Materials Award according to their year of entry and course of study.

Cornwall Award (pre-2020 starters only)
All students who have a permanent home address in Cornwall at the point of application to their course, and who meet one of the eligibility criteria will qualify for the Cornwall Award
There is no application process for the Cornwall Award – all eligible applicants are identified and contacted prior to the start of the Autumn term.
For Real Award
The For Real Award is open to all eligible UK and EU students. Students can apply for help towards the cost of travel and accommodation needed to undertake off-campus activity in relation to their studies.
Falmouth Edge Awards
Edge Awards are aimed at encouraging and supporting students to be creative, connected and courageous. We want students to push boundaries above and beyond what their day-to-day studies (and finances) might allow.
All students will have the opportunity to apply for an Edge Award during their second year of study.
The Pendennis Bursary offers additional financial support primarily to students who have been in the care of a local authority at age 16 and those in similar circumstances without any family network or support. All recipients of the Pendennis Bursary also receive welcome vouchers on arrival at Falmouth University, to help buy household items they may need to get set up in their new accommodation.
The Dependants Bursary offers additional financial support to students who have responsibility for either an adult or child/ren dependant/s. Students need to be in receipt of either Parents Learning Allowance (PLA) or Adult Dependents Grant (ADG) from Student Finance.
Falmouth Hardship Fund
The Hardship Fund offers financial support available to students who experience financial difficulties due to an unforeseen circumstance. Applicants will need to demonstrate that they had a financial plan in place before starting their studies and the circumstances affecting their personal situation.
