Lecturer, Business & Digital Marketing BSc(Hons)
Prior to working at Falmouth University, Vivienne studied at the Falmouth College of Art and is delighted to return. Until 2021 she has been heading up a marketing agency and has worked in the digital marketing space since 2012.
As a teacher and lecturer, she combines industry knowledge with an MA in Critical Theory and another in Creative Writing. Her specialisms include: all aspects of copywriting, sales enablement, the buyer's journey and beyond. With a keen interest in entrepreneurship, rural economies, and creativity she has been a business mentor, trainer and coach to new businesses and incubators. A number have progressed to Series A funding and her recent focus has been on food and drink recruitment, agritech and plant-based disruptors.
Vivienne has been working towards a PhD with research interests including social media, online abuse, disinformation, misinformation and fake news. Before working in the digital marketing space Vivienne taught and lectured for 20+ years including training teachers in the post 16 sector.
Outside of work she writes children's books and blogs about creativity and creative entrepreneurship and has a keen interest in ceramics and contemporary sculpture.
