Peter Cox
Chief Operating Officer
As COO Peter's portfolio includes responsibility for integrated resource planning, finance, HR, student information, business intelligence, Digital Experience & ICT, student support, estates, campus facilities and accommodation services. He is a member and co-chair of the Board of FX Plus, the 50:50 joint venture which delivers some of these services for both Falmouth University and the University of Exeter at our shared Penryn campus.
Before joining Falmouth in 2012, Peter was the Finance Director and Company Secretary and a member of the Executive Board of the Eden Project in Cornwall for 10 years. Prior to moving to Cornwall in 2002, he was at the global firm Ernst & Young in London where he trained and qualified as a chartered accountant before becoming a partner in the Corporate Finance department in 1998.
Since declaring a climate & ecological emergency in 2019, Peter has also taken responsibility to drive our Sustainability Strategy with support from our Sustainability Team
