Anne Charnock is a visual artist based in Manchester and London.
BA and MA Fine Arts, Manchester Metropolitan University
BSc Environmental Sciences, University of East Anglia
Founder member of Suite Studio Group, Salford
Anne worked in journalism before she became involved in fine art so it's unsurprising that her arts practice is predominantly text-based. She is particularly interested in digital technology and her current work is loosely based on the Track Changes function in word processing programs. The content of these works often deals with her own indecisions and uncertainties as a practising artist. In contrast, the work embodies a confident graphic aesthetic.
