Cornish Pupils Celebrate their Creativity

26 June 2017

The work of young creatives from across the county was celebrated last week at our annual CreatEd Exhibition and Awards Evening.

Students, teachers and VIP guests attended the private viewing and awards ceremony at the Penryn Campus.

CreatEd is a showcase of outstanding work by GCSE and A-Level students and an opportunity for them to exhibit to the public.

There were over 800 entries from students at 18 Cornish schools and colleges.

The evening's guest speaker was alumnus and acclaimed artist and designer, Tom Raffield, who told the pupils, "You guys are the next creative talents that will shape the future world we live in" and they should build on their talents and passions because, "you might find that what you're working on right now just might be the thing that takes you where you want to go."

Awards for exceptional work were handed out during the evening. For a full list of winners visit the CreatEd webpage
