AMATA to Host First Ever Comedy Night

Our Academy of Music and Theatre Arts (AMATA) is playing host to two of the UK's most talented comedians, Lou Sanders and Luke McQueen, on Thursday 1 March.

Lou Sanders has appeared on Alan Davies As Yet Untitled, Russell Brand's Stand Off for Red Nose Day and the Russell Howard Hour. She has written for 8 Out of 10 Cats, Mock the Week, Stand Up for the Week and Miranda. Luke McQueen has featured on BBC3, ITV2 and ALL4.

Lou has been described as "destined for hugeness," by Time Out, while The Guardian have referred to Luke as "a monstrously overgrown baby that has burst free of its play-pen."

See for yourself and laugh the evening away at our first ever comedy night. Tickets are available from the AMATA website or call the box office on 01326 259349.

AMATA is based on our Penryn Campus and hosts a year-round public programme of theatre, dance, comedy and music.
