Your university teams are here to advise, support and guide you, to enable you to succeed in your studies and university life.
Starting university is a very exciting and challenging time. So that you know what to expect when you arrive, we've organised a number of induction activities to help you get settled and prepare you for university life.
If you have any questions about student life, please just ask! You can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or ring us on 01326 370460
We've also organised a number of induction activities for when you arrive, to help you get settled and be fully prepared for University life and learning:
The Compass (Student Services)
Student Services provide a range of support, information and specialist services, and are here to support you throughout your studies.
At The Compass helpdesk, staff will be on hand to offer help and advice with any questions you may have about the campus and services, registration, living in the community and adjusting to university life.
At The Compass in Penryn, our Student Essentials event will take place in different stalls and drop ins every day during Welcome Week to help you settle in and find your way around. Make sure you come along so you don't miss anything important. If you are based in Falmouth, catch a bus to the Penryn Campus, visit The Compass and get a tour of the campus and the library and find out more about the services available.
You'll find out more about Student Services and how they can support you throughout your studies in a timetabled presentation during Welcome Week.

Regular Library tours will be available at both campus libraries for the first two weeks, following Welcome Weekend.
Tours are highly recommended. During Welcome Week, they will run on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. In the second week tours will be available every day from Monday - Friday. All tours will start at the Library helpdesks and will run every 30 minutes between 11:00 - 13:30 with an evening tour at the Penryn Campus Library at 18:00. Tours will take approximately 15 minutes.
Individual tours are also available upon request.
