This event has been postponed.
In light of the most recent advice set out by the UK Government in regard to COVID-19; we have taken the decision to postpone the Games Academy Expo. We are replacing it with an online gallery of games and student work, as well as a livestream celebrating our students' third year games. More details regarding these events will be posted through Falmouth University and the Games Academy's channels.
We're incredibly proud of our students for continuing to develop their games despite this unprecedented situation.
Falmouth University Games Academy is delivering a mind-blowing Games Expo in May 2020. The Expo will prove to be a great event with opportunities for the public and professionals to engage with the next generation of games developers and artists.
It'll take a trade-show format where student games can be played and experienced. Professionals from industry are expected and will be providing insight and crit for current students as well as a platform for pitches from third year and Masters students.
The event will culiminate in revealing the winners of the Supermassive sponsored Supermassive Award. This award is run by Steve Goss from Supermassive and is open to third year teams competing for best game. The award has previously gone to the team including Tom King who cites it as a pivotal reason for his gaining a graduate role as Junior Games Designer at Supermassive Games.
