Course Updates for 2020-21
You'll find important information on how your course was updated in 2020-21 in light of the Covid-19 pandemic on this page. The information is displayed for study block 1 and study block 2 and the documents are labelled accordingly. Please read this page carefully.
Study block 2 course updates
Following the government's announcement that specialist institutions can return to face-to-face teaching on 8 March, course teams will be reverting to delivery as close to the "originally planned blended learning approach" as it is possible to do so mid-way though the study block. As a result there may be some variation of the published plans (e.g. in-person sessions planned before face-to face teaching was permitted will not be re-scheduled); course teams will communicate their detailed plans for re-starting face-to-face teaching directly.

Blended learning
All of the University's courses changed during the first study block (term) of the 2020/21 academic year. As a result of the COVID-19 social distancing requirements, all courses planned to be delivered using a blended learning approach, combining physical access to our campus and facilities with increased use of our virtual learning environment and other digital tools (e.g. lectures and seminars being delivered via Microsoft Teams). In addition, all assessments were planned to be adapted to allow for online submission.
The documents found above provide more details about how your course and modules have been adapted in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. If you have any questions on the changes you can contact the Course Leader.
Required equipment
Although students have access to our campuses, we are unable to make as many of our resources available as normal (e.g. computers in the library study spaces). As a result we anticipate that all students will require, as minimum, a basic laptop computer and ready access to broadband internet. If you have any concerns about the affordability of these changes, please do consider applying to the Falmouth Hardship Fund
