Performance Sportswear Design student Isobel Rimmer has secured a sought-after design apprenticeship with Reebok.
Final year student Isobel will head to the Reebok Headquarters in Boston, USA, in July to start her one year placement with the global sports brand where she'll be designing women's outerwear and running kit.
Isobel said: "I'm really looking forward to working with Reebok and see myself in America, designing gym wear for a while. My goal is to become a Vice-President of a sportswear brand.
"I have loved experimenting with all the machinery, testing new ideas and thinking creatively at Falmouth. Within my course I've really appreciated how the tutors get to know you personally; motivating you to reach your full potential and inspiring your future goals. I have never been held back only encouraged to try new things, even when they might not work, and I have gained so much more knowledge from this."
Susan Shaw, Course Coordinator, said: "This a great achievement for Isobel and a strong start to her career. She will be joining several other Performance Sportswear Design graduates who are all enjoying the lifestyle along with the exciting challenges of being sportswear designers for a major brand. Isobel has been a very motivated and creative student and we have no doubt she will go on to succeed in achieving all her goals."
