The Games Academy has appointed two Visiting Professors who are both legends of the UK Games Industry - Ian Livingstone CBE and Steve Jackson.

Ian and Steve are co-founders of iconic games company Games Workshop and creators of the Fighting Fantasy series of gamebooks, which have sold over 18 million copies worldwide.

Ian's portfolio also includes launching the Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Hitman franchises, and he won the BAFTA Special Award in 2002 for his outstanding contribution to the video games industry. Steve designed the first interactive telephone role-playing game F.I.S.T., co-founded Lionhead Studios renowned for the Fable game series and is currently Professor of Games Design at Brunel University London.

Both have already given very successful guest talks to our students and we look forward to working with them in future years.
