The Fashion & Textiles Institute has been accepted as a member of the International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institutes (IFFTI).
Tracy Pritchard, Director of the Fashion & Textiles Institute, said: "We are delighted by this announcement. To be aligned with the best fashion courses in the world is a real privilege. Being a member of IFFTI acknowledges the quality of work our students produce and recognises the excellence we have in learning and teaching within the Institute."
The Institute boasts successful alumni including Lucy Gardener who established sportswear brand Fierlan in 2013 and James White who was named European Young Designer 2015.
Courses include Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing, Fashion Photography, Performance Sportswear Design and Textile Design.
IFFTI is an international association of leading higher education institutions dedicated to promoting excellence in teaching and learning in fashion and fashion related programs.
