This weekend the Graphic Information Design class of 1995 returned to Falmouth to reminisce and reconnect.
The reunion was organised by alumna Lisa Blythman-Wood, who is now Associate Creative Director at VML London.
The group started the weekend with a visit back to the School of Communication Design on the Falmouth Campus.
Lisa said: "The space was open plan, inspiring and impressive, with little left of the four studios we all knew and remembered. The environment was light and airy with current students' busy working. I'm not sure many of us would have done the same at 5pm on a sunny Friday afternoon!
"As creative directors, art directors, brand and user experience experts working client side, in our own businesses or in agencies across the world, the ability to creatively problem solve is just one of many things we learnt and are using everyday twenty years on. I don't think we appreciated what a special place Falmouth was and still is, teaching us to challenge the brief, take risks and striving to be the very best we can. If you are studying now or have recently graduated, don't leave it twenty years to work this out. Falmouth University is an exceptional home of creativity."
The rest of the weekend was spent reliving favourite haunts - boat trips to St. Mawes, chips and pasties on the pier, checking the Chainlocker and the Quayside were still the same and shopping in Trago Mills!
Lisa added: "The class of 1995 made friends for life and no matter where we are in the world, collectively we are all proud to say I'm from Falmouth."
