Clare currently teaches on BA(Hons) Creative Events Management, which she co-wrote and on BA(Hons) Music, Theatre & Entertainment Management.

Clare Hearn came to her current role at Falmouth University as a highly experienced event and project manager working with the cultural sector and creative industries. She has a strong background in the museums and galleries sector in particular and she co-founded and acted as strategic director of Mackerel Sky Events, an award winning company delivering a breadth of projects throughout the cultural, corporate and community sectors.

Clare’s specialisms include working with the heritage, education and visual arts industries and fundraising for the 3rd sector. Her research interests lie in defining and exploring the value of culture through public engagement.
