Students and staff have gathered for the annual Student Mentor Awards.
The awards, which took place at Merchant's Manor, celebrate the exceptional contribution of Student Mentors to university life. They take on a huge commitment in addition to their studies and extra-curricular activities to help welcome, support and nurture first year students.
Mentors were praised on the night for their dedication and professionalism. Winners included Graphic Design Team Leader Harry Lee, from Hayle, who picked up a bronze award.
Harry said: "I have found Mentoring extremely rewarding; I take great pride in welcoming new students to Falmouth."
The Fine Art Mentor Team, led by Gold Award Winner Christopher Slesser, scooped the coveted double - Outstanding Team Award and Student Choice Team Award, as voted by the student community.
Christopher said: "First, second and third years have been able to communicate and in cases collaborate; it's been really healthy. I couldn't be happier being a Fine Art Mentor."
Professor Anne Carlisle, Vice-Chancellor & Chief Executive, said: "This year has seen outstanding professional practice within the Mentor role with 53 Mentors achieving higher level awards of excellence through bronze, silver and gold."
