Anna Nikolaidou completed her BA (Hons) in Architecture degree (RIBA Part 1) and Diploma in Architecture (RIBA Part 2) at the University of Brighton. She holds a Masters degree in Architectural Design (Advanced Virtual and Technological Architecture Research) from the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. She is an EU Qualified Architect and a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.

She has gained a broad range of experience in the industry working in international design-led practices to large commercial firms and in a range of sectors including architecture, interior architecture and landscape architecture. She has collaborated, both as an employee and freelancer, with high profile companies such as KCA International, MKV Design, Hartmann Designs, Gustafson Porter and Foster and Partners. She has also worked on residential and commercial projects for private clients in Spain and Athens.

She worked as an associate lecturer at the University of the West of England in Bristol for three years teaching architectural design to a variety of courses including architecture, architecture and planning, interior architecture and architecture and environmental engineering. She has also taught as a visiting professor in architecture at the IE University in Segovia, Spain.

She joined Falmouth University in August 2016 as a full time senior lecturer in Interior Design, leading and teaching a variety of modules on studio design, histories & theories and dissertations. Her research interests focus on wearable technology, body architecture, 3-D printing, innovative fabrication technologies, human security and social vulnerability.
