Tuition fees 2016/17

Annual inclusive tuition fees

This schedule of tuition fees applies to students commencing their studies as a new student in the academic year 2016/17. The annual inclusive fee covers the annual tuition fees. It does not include accommodation charges.

Visiting students will be charged the above fees on a pro-rata basis relating to their period of study and will receive a £500 pro-rata discount reflecting their exemption from assessments.

Channel Islands and Isle of Man

Students that are residents on the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man will be allocated Island status and will be charged annual Tuition Fees of £9000-00 for full time Undergraduate courses. They should contact their local Education Office about applying for funding.

Acceptance fee

A non-refundable acceptance fee of £250 for EEA nationals including Norway, £500 for non-visa nationals and £1000 for visa nationals should be submitted with the acceptance of an offer of a place at the University. Visa nationals will have their acceptance fee refunded if they fail to secure a visa; we will require notification from the appropriate High Commission.

Payment schedule

The annual inclusive fee can either be paid in full at the start of the course or by two equal instalments: first instalment on enrolment in September, and the second instalment is due at the beginning of the second study block in January.

Please deduct your acceptance fee and if applicable Falmouth University tuition fee scholarship award from your first payment.

To make a tuition fees payment, please use one of the following methods:

  • Online payments can be made at: paymentportal.falmouth.ac.uk
  • Cheques should be made payable to Falmouth University and posted to The Finance Office, Falmouth University, Woodlane, Falmouth, Cornwall TR11 4RH, UK
  • Credit/debit card payments can be made by telephone on +44 (0) 1326 213778 or +44 (0) 1326 253790, between 9.00am and 4.45pm GMT, Monday to Friday
  • In person at the Finance Office between 9.00am and 2.00pm (3.00pm Wednesdays) Monday to Friday
  • Directly into the University bank account - please email student.fees@falmouth.ac.uk for further details
