Partnership

We are proud to work with hundreds of organisations, from international brands, to small enterprises. Together we're tackling the grand issues facing society and are working towards a more connected, courageous future.

There are a number of ways to collaborate with us. Here are some of the most popular routes...

Become a strategic partner

We have extensive experience in alliance management and always welcome approaches from potential partner organisations. Contact our business development officer, who will put you in touch with the most appropriate department.

Collaborative research

Falmouth provides both a thriving and connected research community. Recent projects have involved Alcatel-Lucent, the Philharmonia Orchestra, BT and the Royal Free Hospital. Visit our research page to explore our areas of expertise

To discuss a potential research project, contact Mhairi Ambler.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) enable organisations to harness our skills and expertise to aid business development.

KTPs typically last for six months to three years and are designed to focus on a specific business need. Part funded by a government grant, partnerships are between your organisation (the company), the University (the knowledge base) and a recent graduate (KTP associate). Working with your organisation, the associate utilises Falmouth's knowledge, skills and technology under the supervision of an academic expert. KTPs offer the chance to:

  • Increase profitability
  • Improve existing products or develop new products
  • Implement a marketing strategy to enter new markets
  • Improve performance/business operations
  • Access expertise to drive business growth
