Sue Norcross started her career as a primary school teacher in Derbyshire. From there, she qualified to teach a number of secretarial subjects. When she moved to Cornwall in 1993 with her young family she worked at Cornwall College, training secretaries. She taught a number of subjects including word processing, Teeline shorthand, communication skills and key skills.

Sue has worked more recently with undergraduates and postgraduates at Cornwall College. She joined Falmouth University in 2008 and now teaches Teeline shorthand to BA(Hons) Journalism students.
