Sion has enjoyed a successful 23 year career in the advertising industry. For 17 of those years he has been a creative director at major international networks such as DDB, TBWA, Ogilvy & Mather and Saatchi & Saatchi. Over the years Sion has mentored many young teams, many of whom have gone on to be successful creative directors in their own right. During his tenure as executive creative director of Saatchi, Singapore, the agency was ranked as one of Ad-Age’s Top-Ten global agencies. Sion himself was ranked by Campaign Brief Magazine as the Number Two Creative Director in the Asia/Australasia region.

In 2002 Sion was handpicked by Saatchi Worldwide network CEO, Kevin Roberts, to become part of the small team responsible for developing and packaging Saatchi’s celebrated Lovemarks brand philosophy. More recently Sion was Regional Creative Director CEMEA at Saatchi & Saatchi, running multi-channel integrated campaigns across a large and demanding region covering Central Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Sion has won numerous industry awards including multiple Cannes Lions, One Show awards, Creative Circles, D&ADs, and even a BAFTA. Sion is also an award-nominated novelist and was a guest author at the Dubai LitFest in 2011; his stage play ‘Jam’ was recently performed at theatres in Southend and Chelmsford. Sion joined Falmouth in April 2014 as head of Creative Advertising.
