6pm, Friday 12 March
Chapel Lecture Theatre, Tremough Campus

Paul Andrew Williams began his career as an actor but is perhaps better known as a director of pop-promos, viral ads and short films.

In 2001 Paul wrote and directed Royalty, a short which would later inspire London to Brighton, the film which prompted The Guardian to describe him as "the hottest director in Britain", and the only UK-based director to be picked up by the Fox Searchlight Director's Lab.

Paul will talk about his work as a writer/director, focusing on his feature films London to Brighton, The Cottage and, due this year, Cherry Tree Lane.
