Andrew McNeillie 'Time's Winged Chariot: Placing Nature Writing and the Nature of Writing about Place'

Professor Andrew McNeillie leads the new in MA in Writing, Nature and Place at Exeter University. Formerly the Literature Editor at Oxford University Press, Andrew is a writer, publisher and founder of the literary magazine Archipelago. His two most recent projects are a memoir Once (2009) - about his childhood and youth - and a collection of poems In Mortal Memory to appear in February 2010.

Andrew will be talking about literary traditions of nature writing and its resistance to the peripheral nature of publications today.

These talks are not ticketed, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment
