Fiona Hackney Fiona Hackney is Course Leader for the MA in 20th Century Art & Design: Histories & Theories at University College Falmouth. Fiona has presented papers at international conferences, and lectured on gender in print design for many places including the Women's Library, London and the University of Delaware. She has published on magazines, gender and domestic practice, most recently in Transatlantic Print Culture, Palgrave (2008). Last year she convened the international conference ‘Networks of Design' at University College; the conference proceedings are available from Universal-Publishers.

Fiona will be presenting from her PhD thesis: ‘They Opened Up a Whole New World': Feminine Modernity and Women's Magazines, 1919-1939'

These talks are not ticketed, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment
