How I got Rage Against The Machine to No 1 Lecture by Jon Morter

6:30pm to 8:00pm, 28 April 2010

Chapel Lecture Theatre, Tremough Campus, Penryn TR10 9EZ

Wednesday 28 April 2010, 6.30pm-8.00pm
Chapel Lecture Theatre, Tremough

The 2009 Christmas No 1 record was not another X Factor machined product - it was an Amercian rock band formed in 1991, due to the power of Facebook and a little idea pushed forward by a man called, Jon Morter.

Jon will be discussing how he came up with the idea, organised and promoted the campaign, and how the Facebook group developed.   Following the talk, there will be an opportunity for a Q&A session with Jon.

The event is hosted by University College Falmouth in conjunction with The Hub and Cornwall Social Media Cafe.

Admission is free and by ticket only.

The FREE Tickets are available from 1pm on 19th April through an online ticket system at http://ragecornwall.eventbrite.com/

This lecture is sponsored by the School of Media at University College Falmouth, UKNetWeb, Tonick Media, Niddocks Internet Marketing and Mail Away.
