Train-to-nowhere

BoneladderCart Macabre is a multi-sensory exploration of the signifying and effecting potential of space within a theatrical experience. The production is centred upon the scenographic concept of eight fully mobile carts in which audiences are taken through a journey across a multimedia environment. Enclosing its audience within the darkness of its carts and offering them a variety of kinaesthetic stimuli, Cart Macabre induces in them a state of high alert, perception and sensitivity. Through adjustable peepholes, windows and walls audiences of Cart Macabre are presented with large-scale video installations, physical performance, shadow puppetry, mask work and original songs. Cart Macabre challenges theatrical convention proposing instead a perpetual reinvention and exploration of space.

LIVING STRUCTURES is a motor that initiates collaborations between artists from multi-disciplinary creative fields, in order to create immersive performance events.
