Helen teaches on a range of writing courses at UCF. Her particular interests include the development of the novel, contemporary fiction, literary and narrative theory. She has previously taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses on the nineteenth-century novel, contemporary fiction, modern theory, and writing. She has recently completed her first novel, which is with her agent.
