Choreography as a cross disciplinary practice exploring relationships between bodies and objects in time and space. Devising methods of making performance that engage performers and choreographers in a relational practice of shared ideas and processes. Engagement with choreography as a practice of research, related to the wider fields of arts, writing, philosophies, theoretical debate, psychology and architecture.

Research interests

Studio based relational choreographic processes. Interweaving movement and performance-making with existential & Gestalt psychology. Theoretical writing that emerges out of practice, engaging a subjective phenomenological relational attitude that rejects ownership, possession, or any fixed interpretation or truth about others.

National and international links with dance choreographers and performance makers, including Chisenhale Dance Space, Laban and Siobhan Davies Studios in London, Maquamat Dance Company in Beirut, Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, LaSalle College of Arts in Singapore, University of Auckland in New Zealand, The Dance House, Limassol in Cyprus. Background in Independent Dance profession, with well established contact base and expert knowledge of dance practitioners.
