Derrek Hines
Tutor, Creative Practice / Writing the Novel
Derrek is a poet, novelist and the managing editor of Cargo Press. His most recent book of poetry, Gilgamesh , is a recreation of the world’s first epic poem and is published by Chatto (UK) and Anchor-Random House (US). Derrek also reviews for the TLS and other journals, has a novel set in the ancient world currently being edited by his publisher and recently adapted Gilgamesh into a successful stage play.
