Dr Larry Lynch

Head of the Department of Performance

Larry LynchDr Larry Lynch has worked in higher education for 13 years, and has a long track record of delivering strategic change and leading significant curriculum development initiatives. After lecturing posts at Dartington College of Arts and the University of Winchester, he became Head of the Department of Critical Studies at Plymouth College of Art in 2007.

He took up the post of Field Director of Writing at Dartington in 2008, and served as Interim Director of the School of Art & Performance at University College Falmouth before his current role as Head of the Department of Performance.

He has established the Performance Writing Research Group at UCF, forming working partnerships with the Arnolfini in Bristol and the BANFF centre in Canada.

Larry studied at Dartington for a 1st class honours degree in Performance Writing, and completed a PhD in 2008. His subject specialisms are performance writing, visual performance, and writing, performance and subjectivity.
