Bryan ClarkBryan joined Falmouth in 2005 following an 18-year design career in London, latterly as Creative Partner and Director of international design consultancy Lewis Moberly, for leading brands and business across the world.

Through his teaching and research, Bryan has led and developed postgraduate study in graphic design alongside teaching on the undergraduate award, being additionally senior academic lead for new online learning initiatives in the school.

Recent election to D&AD's Executive Committee, enables him to foster and build important links with the creative industries and his engagement with design professionals across the globe. In the South West he was invited to join the Advisory Board for the Design Council's regional DOTT project and he continues to build student, college and personal initiatives through regional business and cultural partnerships.

Throughout his career, Bryan has been involved with consultancy and external examiner posts to universities across the UK and Europe, most recently for Chelsea College of Art and Design's MA in Graphic Design Communication. He has lectured widely at other HE institutions and delivered talks for the Design Council, V&A, ICA, the British Council and D&AD. He has also sat on design juries for professional and student award schemes including those for D&AD and the RSA.

As a designer, his national and international award-winning work (he has been recipient of some 36 prizes - including D&AD's Silver Pencil) has been much published, and recently his identity work for La Grande Epicerie de Paris was noted as one of the top 10 Brand Icons in the world by international journal Grafik. Bryan is a specialist in design for print, packaging and brand identity and experienced in working and collaborating with practitioners across the arts, with particular expertise in ethical trade issues. Supporting graduates in their early career development and achievements is an important aspect of his work and he regularly mentors new creative business and start-up initiatives. He continues to practice as a designer and consultant for clients in the UK and abroad.
