2005-10 Award Leader, MA Visual Performance: Time Based Practices

Current research explores critical interconnections of ‘agency' between multivalent performance activities, the body (human or animal), the video camera and the ‘contingent' object. Which respond to particularities/peculiarities of context(s), interstices space(s), place(s) or site(s), encounter and dialogue(s) with a tendency to work in immediate, temporary, makeshift, or stopgap ‘strangeways'.

Research interests
Failure, critical aesthetics, mistakeology, queer arrangements, amateurism, video & film, girl bands, assemblage, humour, doubt, dirt, performance, object, language, shoddiness.

Liverpool Biennial 2010 DaDaFest Residency Commission in partnership with Metal ‘Bordering on Identity' End November 2010.

'Queer, the Space' which takes the form of a response to a building in Acton Street, King's Cross, by activists, artists, and academics interested in the ideas of queer and space and their connections. 2011 Organised by Dr Emily Jeremiah, School of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures (Royal Holloway, University of London); Dr Sarah Barnsley, Department of English and Comparative Literature (Goldsmiths, University of London)
