Jonathan Glynne

Lecturer

Jonathan Glynne teaches history of art and design on the PgDip/MA 20th Century Art & Design: Histories and Theories course, and Historical and Contextual Studies on the MA Creative Advertising, BA(Hons) Photography and BA(Hons) Graphic Design courses. His specialism is twentieth-century German cultural history with an accent on the relationship between aesthetics, politics and ideology.

Jonathan studied philosophy at University College London, Fine Art at Nottingham Trent Polytechnic, and History of European Art and Architecture at the Universities of East Anglia and Cambridge. He has taught on undergraduate and postgraduate courses at a number of English universities and colleges of art and design, and was Course Director, History of Art and Design at Camberwell College of Arts (University of the Arts, London) before coming to University College Falmouth in 2001.
