Fiona Timmons: English with Media Studies BA(Hons) student

BA(Hons) English with Media Studies 2006 - 2009

The English with Media Studies course has far surpassed my expectations. It has a great combination of classic elements and a contemporary twist that offers an interesting insight into both the literature and the culture of today's society. There is a good variety in module choice, which allows you to focus on your own particular interests. The lecturers are very supportive and take a genuine interest in the individual, which helps to ensure that you achieve your true potential. There is also plenty of opportunity for one on one tutorials, which enable you to get the most out of each tutor's specialist knowledge.

During my time studying at Falmouth, I feel I have learnt so much about myself, my skills, my weaknesses and my ability to rise to a challenge. Due to the course set up, I have massively increased my time management skills, my organisation and my capacity to meet and manage deadlines.
