I grew up, like the rest of the generation I
belong to, watching David Attenborough documentaries, in awe of the beauties in
this world. As I have grown up it has
opened my eyes as to what can be achieved when you put your mind to it and aim
for your dreams. These days with so many
species becoming extinct and the human impact on the world becoming ever more
destructive I want to be able to be proud and say that I help try to establish
some awareness as to what we are destroying.
Being on this course allows me to get a greater knowledge of some of the
aspects of nature, with such a diverse range of habitats and ecosystems around
Cornwall coming to Falmouth was inevitable, and I am glad to have made the
choice to study there.
